Engineering Alliance provides PLTW students with opportunities to showcase their knowledge and skills in a competitive environment, and to learn and apply leadership skills inherent to engineering.
For students to participate in Engineering Alliance competitions and leadership activities, the PLTW teacher must first complete the online Engineering Alliance registration form. Once the registration is complete, the teacher is given a teacher code and a student code to access EA materials and competitions. The competitions are integrated into the PLTW curriculum, so they will take place on the same timeline as the corresponding curriculum.
Competition takes place within your school among those students participating in the PLTW program. Competitions are team oriented and will rely on the knowledge and skills gained through the PLTW curriculum.
